Evertonian in NC

Not talking about the best player for 2013/14, but rather who you are most excited to see develop under RM's scheme.

For me, it's Kevin Mirallas.  I saw flashes of greatness last year, and with things opened up...he could really break out.  Thoughts?

I'm looking forward to see if jelavic can find his old form. I'm hoping he's going to get more of a chance to play to his strengths instead of constantly running the channels. He desperately needs to work on his strength and balance pre season though...he spent most of last season on his arse.

 Ross Barkley.
I see a smidgeon of Paul Gascoigne in this fella'.
You can take that to the bank.

If Coleman continues to improve like he has then he could be the one.

I suspect however that this will be the season that Barkley finally realises his potential.

Barkley, Jelavic & Naismith all need to improve.
Naismith is clearly not a midfielder,  I would like to see him play as a striker for a few games before completely writing him off

Agree with the OP. Mirallas instantly sprang to mind when I saw the tagline. We all know he had moments of brilliance last year as well as matches where he completely disappeared. I think he will be more consistant under RM and expect to see some more jaw dropping plays from him next year.

I guess the above should have been qualified with the statement that he won't see the most overall improvement (think that'll be Barkley), but I think the quality he will gain will be most noted.

Pienaar and Osman will thrive under him.

Also think Ross Barkley is a Roberto Martinez wet dream

Realistically it has to be Barkley, Duffy or Jelavic. But I'd say Heitinga, just to be unique :)

I think next season will be known as the beginning of the Roberto Martinez/Ross Barkley era

Considering Bobby's defensive problems it should be Howard  ;)

I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Mirallas, Barkley and Jelavic are the obvious picks but really looking forward to seeing Oviedo get some game time.
