Guillem Balague ‏@GuillemBalague 14m

2 European clubs wanted 2 enquire for Baines and Fellaini but were told not 2 try because they are set to to go Manchester United

That Balague guy has about as much credibility as I do. And my credibility is only just a bit higher than Tokyo Toffee's.

Im off out to play golf so my head hasn't exploded by tea time! But two CM's, Jermaine Defoe, a nice little 'marquee' surprise signing and keeping hold of Baines will do please Robert :)

What a fucking knobhead.

We'd encourage other clubs to try and bid to bump the price up.

Guillame Bellend more like it.

McNulty seems to think Fellaini is really starting to push for the deal but the chances of Baines going are receding.

I'm warming more to the idea of selling Fellaini now.

Get 25-30M for him, get McCarthy in for 10-15 (Even though im not best pleased with that) And spend the rest on a decent forward.

We absolutely cannot go the rest of the season with what we have up front, its gonna kill us.

Can see us getting Barry if Fellaini stays, or McCarthy if he goes.
We then need a striker and a replacement for Osman, if we can do that and they're not from Wigan I'll be relatively happy.

BBC Sport chief football writer Phil McNulty
"This morning's Dutch media are going heavy on Everton trying to tie up a deal for Feyenoord's promising defender Bruno Martins Indi. It is shaping up to be a busy day for manager Roberto Martinez - but so much will be shaped by Marouane Fellaini's proposed move to Manchester United."

Just driven down the M6 - got off at Jnct 9 and whodya think is parked in the lay by?

None other than Peter Odemwingie - ready to dash anywhere where his name gets mentioned.

We could do worse - and I know that's true because we already have.
