Worried about Toure, I don't see who in our midfield can stop him.
barkley if played deep

mccarthy's likely to be the one to match up with him though; he's got the energy and workrate to make it a difficult day for him, moreso than ossie anyway

i believe.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

if this were moyes it would be 10 or 11 men behind the ball all game

will be interesting to see to what degree martinez gives it a go

If it was a Moyes team they'd probably go out and lose 4-1 or something...... Oh, hang about....

If this was Moyes we would probably go and continue our great run against Man City, home AND away

I'm not criticising at all, I'd rather see us play 10 behind the ball and get a result

No sarcasm, I am really interested to see how he sets up

Pantilimon, every time, as he's the inferior player. Hart, though out of form, can still put together amazing games. Pantilimon has played 12 games for City, none in the league, over 2+ seasons. No question for me.

As for me, I bet we see Naismith on one wing, particularly with our midfield injuries.

I could see us coming out with a 5-4-1 formation for this, with Heitinga sweeping. If Mirallas and Gibson both miss out:
                            Howard
          Jagielka     Heitinga      Distin
Coleman                                        Baines
                           McCarthy
                Osman             Naismith
                            Barkley
                            Lukaku

Osman and Naismith, despite their limitations, will both track back into wide areas when needed. With Gibson out and Barry ineligible, we don't have many options in the centre. Pienaar and Mirallas both injured would force us to play a bit more narrow, as I doubt Deulofeu is ready for a full 90 with the defensive responsibilities he'd have to pull for Man City away.

I suspect Mirallas makes it, though, perhaps in place of Osman or Heitinga.
