i'm sure its a lot more complicated that i'm making it out to be, but...

200,000 Evertonians paying 1000 to raise funds to buy Everton making it fan owned.

my opinion is that a take-over is nowhere to be seen and Bill is not interested in selling to profiteers.

Basic maths says with those figures 200,000 fans can raise 200,000,000, that giving enough to buy the club. The remaining money is there for other things that we are unaware of, i'm sure there are other costs involved like solicitors and such things. maybe that figure even leaves enough for some investment in the squad.

i'm aware that 1000 is a lot of money. that is basically 1 months wage for me and so could take a little for someone like myself to raise the funds and maybe even longer for other people. Given a time frame of 2/3 years is there enough blues to raise the money?

Just wanted to see what other peoples thoughts are.
Am I so stupid i can't see that this is completely a none viable option?

I doubt 200,000 Evertonians have a grand going spare.  I also doubt you could get a consensus of Evertonians, we couldn't even agree on a badge properly.

Didn't Everton alliance try something similar?

The last people I would want making decisions on Everton is our fans unfortunately

200,000 is far too big a number of Everton fans to do this. Season tickets are cheaper than 1000 and we get less than 30,000 of them. In fact they are still available now

Cant see it working myself
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

it doesnt have to be 200,000. 1 man can out 10k. Everyone will have different amounts to invest.
Its different to the badge thing. Every Evertonian will love the chance to be a part of owning the club they love. i know i certainty would

Everton Trust seemed to be a decent idea but it doesn't look like that got off the ground either.

He's been a guest star in dodgy US shows. Could be Baywatch?
