We should get 6 points for that. We beat Villa and Anthony Taylor all in one game.

Must admit I wasn't convinced by Martinez at first but he has really won me over. That's three games he's made changes and won us the game as a result. Brilliant.
"Sunday Bloody Sunday. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!"- Alan Partridge

The last 20 was what possession football is all about! It's the most confident we've looked knocking it around like that so far and it will only help us become more accomplished at it for the future. Such a contrast from previous years where we would retreat to our own penalty area and hang on for dear life. Sure Villa dominated for a fair bit of the second half, but while they created a good number of opportunities in that time, none of them were particularly clear cut. We deserved the win. We're not picking up points where we used to drop them so the signs are really good!

Their penalty wasn't a pen either, he tripped himself up.

I dont see how the Mcarthy challenge was a red, it was poor and mistimed but not at all dangerous.

Unlike that shithouse challenge Toney made.

It's late over the top and above the ball. Against us you would want a red
Simply simply lovely

two players running close to each other, one falls over, free kick / penalty

much easier than actually looking at the incident or looking for if there was a foul or not, and referees in England choose the easy option every single time - hence so many penalties at Old Trafford and Anfield for the home side

No chance, we're in dangerous territory these days thinking any bad challenge is a red card. It was a yellow, nothing more imo.

I think it's a red. Its a poor tackle, nowhere near like Barry's last week that you can defend.

Was impressed with Delph for them, massively improved from any other time I've seen him play.

agree, we've rode our luck a bit, I don't think I'd have felt wronged if he was sent off for it, barry's challenge is hard but accidental as his foot's rolled over the ball, this one was hard high and reckless
