BREAKING TEAM NEWS - Everton v Stoke (1500 GMT)
Everton make three changes as Ross Barkley, Leighton Baines and Kevin Mirallas sit this one out.

Doesn't say on the BBC who's in though.

Nooo. Wanted Barkley in the middle.

Makes me think it'll be Osman for Barkley, Oviedo for Baines and Deulofeu for Mirallas.

Really wanted to see us with one less DM this week. I thought we put in one of our best attacking performances last week when Deulofeu came on and Barkley dropped back to Barry's position. Created way more chances, which could be handy this week too.

Weird decision not to start with Barkley. Can only think that he's planning for Utd and Arsenal (even though he says he's not thinking that far ahead).
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Very cautious of Martinez not to start both Barkley and Deulofeu. Maybe he is concerned of the lack of experience in the side with the two of them? Disappointing but I suppose the midweek game is also in mind.

Think it's a good decision. Barkley is a card away from missing united. Mirallas is stranger but very pleased barca kid gets a go!

It's amazing to think we can leave two of our best players on the bench and they can be replaced by decent players. Granted I'm worried about osman but I'd be more worried if Barkley was suspended and osman was starting at united!!
I have to return some videotapes.

Vamos lá Everton!

It seems odd to me as well, but RM has had the Midas touch with his lineup choices, for the most part.  So I will just wait and see how things play out.

It's a minority opinion, but I think Oviedo will show well.

Didn't realise Barkley was one away from a suspension. Sound decision in light of that

Very harsh to drop Mirallas.
