Man u unbeaten in twelve yet people think we will piss it. It's gonna be difficult to get a result against them. I hope we can

I remember a matchday thread three or four years ago, Blackburn first game of the season. There was various optimistic posts, Howard dropped a bollock and we lost 1-0. Let the relegation battle begin.

As said, we drew with what many consider an average Liverpool team, then humped what was a very poor Stoke team, so suddenly people think we're going to  beat Man Utd at Old Trafford, something we haven't done since God was a boy, and they're on something like a dozen games undefeated. It makes the meltdown all the more annoying should we lose the game.

It's logical to think that this is our best chance for 20 years for all the obvious reasons.

That's fair enough to be optimistic about the match.

As Gasher says though the subsequent meltdown is the worst part of when things don't go right.

3 games ago out midfield did nothing against Crystal Palace - why? Because we're still inconsistent. Nothing to fret over as that's the way it is.

Im confident like, just dont think it's such a forgone conclusion that we're gonna win. It's gonna be a very hard game, one that we're gonna have to be at 100% for.

a smash and grab. We wont be as wasteful as Arsenal that day.

think us winning there would finish Moyes off with a lot of their fans
Murray won't ever win a slam. Mentally not good enough

It doesn't really matter about the fans though. The board won't get rid of Moyes just because the fans are bit annoyed. Moyes is going to get plenty time at Utd.

Tough game as many have said, really do think we can get a result there for once though.
Need a big performance from Barry in particular to shut Rooney down and I'm hoping that the years spent training together will mean our centre backs have the measure of Fellaini.
Lukaku could be the difference here I think - will be a tough call to drop Barca kid too after the last game but think its a game for him to make an impact from the bench.

Would it be wise to play Fellaini? I would think that most of our guys would know his game inside out and would know how to wind him up.

Could see him getting sent off in this game if Moyes plays him. :)

here is the last time we beat United at Old Trafford

Man. Utd 0 Everton 3 1992-93

Neither Gerard Deulofeu or Ross Barkley had been born yet!
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!
