that would be strange. if he's in for jags however...

Jags is out for a while isn't he? And Distin is touch and go due to a hamstring injury. Leaving Alcaraz and stones.

hope distin makes it, but otherwise you're probably right. hate reshuffles in defence.

Stones and Alcaraz start. Usual XI otherwise.

Big test..oh well, let's see what they've got.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

We will have to keep them under pressure so Alcaraz and Stones can settle but it's a good lineup

Wonder if the CB pairing will have a knock on effect of how offensive our full backs are today? Merson made a good point on how Coleman and baines are allowed to get forward a lot due to our CB pairing being good enough to cover.

That has a lot to do with Barry and McCarthy not just the centre halfs.

And it's great to have Tim back in net. I would be shitting myself with Joel, and two CBs that have never played together.

That's more likely to be the ale from last night as opposed to some fella playing football BD

Still a good enough team to beat Stoke.  RM will see the key as keeping them occupied at the other end...
