It's Friday and no match day thread?

Anyway, what do we reckon?

I'm thinking, Barry, Pienaar, and lukaku will be rested as they're looking a but tired. Other than that I'm hoping for a strong side. Can see QPR bring a weak team though.

2-0 to us

Looking forward to this. Old 'arry will be keeping his eyes on the prize, ie promotion because that's where he'll earn his bonus from. I fully expect him to put out the B team. Rampant blues tomorrow. I think even Jelavic can score against this lot. 5-0

Harry's already said he'll be resting a few players, including Richard Dunne apparently.

If he plays, I'd like to see McCarthy given license to push forward a bit more often. We've seen it in glimpses but reckon he's got a lot more to his game.

Think we will rest a few here, but still have a good enough team to win, i think naismith, oviedo, osman and jelavic will come in to start.

Friday afternoon, liquid lunch ;)

Im going with something like this, give McCarthy/Barry, Pienaar, Lukaku and Barkley a rest and see if the Baines/Oviedo combo works, at least if we don't perform we have players on the bench that could turn the game around. This should be enough to secure a win at home especially if Harry is resting a few too.

Coleman    Stones    Alcaraz    Baines

           Barry/McCarthy    Osman
 Mirallas            Naismith        Oviedo
                        Jelavic
I used to stick the ball in the net and bow three times to the Kop. They never liked me doing that. - Dixie Dean

Hibbert   Stones  Alcaraz  Baines

               Osman  Barry
Miralles        Naismith    Oviedo Baby
                       Jela

Really think Coleman could do with a rest too and would not give Barry 90 minutes.

Be awesome to see the old Jelavic reborn, bang in a first half, first touch hatrick and reveal a t-shirt with 'Lukak-who?' on it.

Howard Webb once got drunk and sang grand old team with a few Everton fans.
