I'm coming over for the Palace home game and am soOOOO really looking forward to it!

It's my first game since a 1-1 home draw to Spurs a long, long time ago.

Problem is I don't know if it was 1978 or 1979, all I know is that if Everton had won they would have gone top of the league.

Can anyone help?

See you all there! COYB!

Just had a look and if it was 1978 then Mick Lyons scored for us, if it was 1979 then Bob Latchford scored.

Both games ended 1-1. Hope that helps, bloody long time by the way! Hope we don't mess up.

must have been 1978 the year Colin  Todd signed. Remember he didn't want to shave before we lost our first game of the season. He grew a big beard. Will be coming over for the game as well. 4th game this season and still haven't seen us win (allthough  I saw us draw at Arsenal)

It was Sat 30th Dec 1978, we started the game in 2nd place and stayed there after the draw.

That's the one! Thanks mate.

I've only seen 2 Everton draws in my life but don't tell me to stay away!
And I'll be in the Lower Bullens which has been described as a shithole on another thread here  :P
