Hopefully that is Osman on the left, he gets the most out of Baines when he plays there.

I think it definitely will be, and I think you make an excellent point. After Pienaar, he's the one who can hold the ball and play and link with Baines.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

It's a decent lineup with strong options on the bench.

Newcastle XI:

Krul, Yanga-Mbiwa, Williamson, Coloccini, Dummett, Sissoko, Anita, Tiote, Gouffran, de Jong, Cisse

On paper we should beat these

Gosling made the subs bench for them which isn't exactly a show of strength either

edit: half thought Naismith would have started this one given the short turnaround between games

For some reason I feel that Osman and Barkley together might not work.

That de Jong hasn't scored all season for either Gladbach or Newcastle. What's the betting on him scoring tonight? ;)

Osman might be included to give a 'bit of age', older-head experience, for Dela', Barks', and Luka'.
You can take that to the bank.

We're playing a 4-2-2-1-1. Obviously.
