Remember Hughes thinking he was the 'big I am' and leaving Fulham as a "young and ambitious manager" only to realise no one big wanted him and ending up at fucking QPR.
Why is this funny?
It could go either way. There's nothing that points it toward being "awful".
4 games as caretaker isn't exactly much to judge someone on, and it was two years ago. I think that's a harsh judgement, based on his lack of charisma. Much was made of his lack of commitment to friendlies, but in reality it mattered little. And certainly won't impact his managerial ability. He's massively respected within the game, that will count for far more.
Paul Lambert to Stoke, what a shitty appointment that is
Southampton, Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom and West Ham. Any 3 from those and i'd be happy. Even better if they made an impromptu decision to reduce the premier league to 18 teams and took the lot down.
Followed by Villa losing in the playoffs.
No, I can only presume the new owners want to bring in their own man?Although I don't think Coleman's ever going to be a really good club manager.
....................Allardyce says not interested but Moyes is still in the frame. The other contender is Nathan Jones but I think he's been gone too long.
If Stuart Pearce disagrees very strongly with something, I tend to find that I'm strongly in favour of it, by default. The rabblerousing, empty headed fuckwit.
