agreed, it was barely a month.

He had a good cameo in the derby at home.
He was awesome against Stoke at home.
Scored a great goal against Arsenal.
Put in a great performance away from Newcastle.

The rest was just frustrating hitting the byline and shooting bollocks.

What a load of shite.
Name me the matches where he done anything worthwhile?

He would have been great for us if he wouldn't have gotten that injury as he was hitting his stride but after he come back, we were right back at step one with him.

So during a 9 month season, you're saying he was shite for 8 months of it? Factor in the injury of course.

You're just using matches where he stood out as examples. He was great in those games, but there was a lot of games  where he still played well and contributed.

I remember plenty of games when his directness and skill on the ball put the absolute shits up the opposition. Just because he didn't stand out doesn't mean he was shit.

You're 'he was shite bar a month' is just over the top, extreme bullshit.

He created chances every time he played. He had chances himself every time he played.

But your right, shite him.

Sunderland away he scored a crucial goal, Man United away good appearance and helped in the run up to the goal, but picking out moments like these is an exercise in futility. You can't break individual performances down to did they get an assist, or did they score. He often would tire defenders out, keep the an opposition's back four on the back foot as he was constantly running at them. It didn't work all the time and yes he and peaks and troughs but he contributed more than enough for a loanee in their first year in the PL. I'd have him back here in a flash.

That doesn't mean he was the finished article or that people aren't aware of his shortcomings but in terms of game changing substitutions at our disposal I'd have him ahead of most of our options right now.

We will see in a few years where he is at. I'm betting he'll be at a worse club than Everton rather than at Barcelona.

I think he is overrated and his impact last season was too.

I haven't said he was shite for us by the way. Just wouldn't say he was good for us.

Thought Atsu has shown some promise so far for us. It's ridiculously early days. People calling him shite on here is bad enough, but understandable given the percentage of idiots on the internet. What I thought was unacceptable (if I'm remembering this right) was the crowd at Goodison giving him a tough time on his first start against Palace. Ended up getting subbed by Martinez after 60, which was an idiotic decision from a footballing perspective, he was the only player that looked like he could open them up, wonder it was because of the crowd reaction.
