He's not playing shite though is he, one very poor pass aside.

He was poor for large parts there.

His mistake made him wake up though

No he wasn't he played ok, nothing great but certainly nothing poor.

His link up and control have been working fine when the balls been played up to him, apart from one major incident.

Massively disagree

I'll be annoyed if we don't win this, considering all our possession.

Need to get the 3rd here.

He's had a good game, but the lad can't do a 90

Pienaar will track trippier now

Decent last ten minutes, fuckng all over the show for the first 80.

Very harsh. One of our best players today.

Thought he played well throughout. Couple of shaky moments with the wind, but his composure makes us look a lot more assured at the back. Not to mention his quality on the ball, something we need with stones being out

They're going about it in the right way IMO. Throwing money about doesn't guarantee staying up.

You've also go to take into account that they never expected being in the prem at this point.

I started working there 2 years ago and they were relegation fodder. Start of last season they were hoping just to stay up, now they're in the prem. They'll go back down, but keep a good core of the squad so they'll be well equipped to come back up and maybe kick on from there.

What did the boys think of Ings and trippier btw? Their 2 stand out players who are good enough for this level. The rest are just a bunch of talentless workhorses, unfortunately

Was gonna start a thread about Pienaar but suppose it's as relevant here.

I'm starting to write him off as a player and had heard 1 or 2 things about him being a dick outside the club so was thinking his time was up. (Just to make a point though - dint necessarily believe he is a dick and they're just rumours).

Our 3rd goal today was barkley,  Pienaar,  eto'o, goal.
Something really impressed me about Pienaar though, a lot of us agree that barkley needs to mature in decision making a bit more, and Pienaar took time out of celebrating to congratulate ross on the pass and making the right call.

Was really nice to see and put into crystal clarity the fact that barkley is still a kid (which, to be fair, should be extended to lukaku when giving him down the banks at times)

What rumours?

Seems a decent bloke to me.
