So which has been the best of the first 100?

Barkley's run from the half way line, his City strike? Coleman's into the top corner? Gotta be Jag's v the Shite though surely!

My favourite one has got to be Barkley goal against the Newcastle, from the second he got the ball all I could shout was "go on" over and and over and then when he finished it off I fell onto to the sofa like I'd just shot my load.

Great goal but there's been so many.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

Best game was the 3-0 Arsenal demolition, we were sensational that day although we were almost as good in the first fixture at the Emirates.

Can't remember who it was but someone was on here comparing the signing of Eto'o to the signings of Ginola, Gascoigne and Mark Hughes. Wouldn't let it go either.

My favourite single goal was Barkley v City. It wasn't as crucial in importance as others but I just think everything about it was amazing.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

For me it's Baines vs West Ham. There's loads of great goals scored every month in the PL, but I can't remember anyone in my lifetime doing what he did... Two free kicks, from the same spot, each placed beautifully in opposite top corners of the goal. Unbelievable.

Though for emotion it had to be Jags vs Liverpool.

Been a great 14 months tbh. Best football we've played in the prem, I used to love having Kanchelskis and Limpar on the wing but the depth of quality in this team is unrivalled since the 80's.

I agree with the two free kicks being the best scoring moments in a single game. The best goal imo was Barkleys against Newcastle. A sixty yard run leaving players in his wake flat on their arse and nearly breaking the roof of the net with a rocket. Had me in dreamland. For emotion, agreed once again, Jags against the other lot. There have been quite a few crackers in that 100.

This one for me too for the same reason.

Barkley vs Newcastle would be a close second.

For quality of the goal I'd probably say Barkley against Newcastle away

For how good it made me feel I'd say Oviedo v United. The Martinez factor had just started to kick in, it was the first win against United in Donkeys years, Oviedo was already starting to become a cult hero, and I was listening to the game while waiting at the number 8 stand on Queens Square for the 19 when we scored and I just shouted out and celebrated on my own 'Yessssss!Fuckin get in there!'
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

The only thing in comparison is that they were all of similar age when they signed. Eto'o still has a footballing brain, the other three reeked of desperation by Smith.

If compared to signing the likes of Weir and Gough then he'd have a point. Those two just never seemed to age.
