I only watched the last 15mins so haven't seen the goals but the highlight suggests Negredo (the lad who never scores) notched. hahahaha wouldn't you just know it.

Poor again after Europe. No drive, no ideas and completely outfought.

Having all the possession you like will do you no good if you are so slow that you cannot pull the likes of a very average team like Spurs out of position.
Evertonian ever since Andy King smashed the ball past Ray Clemence

Kane was pulling Besic's shirt. No pen.

Lamela should have been sent off for two tackles.

Eriksen should have been sent off for two professional fouls.

Agreed on all accounts. How Eriksen didn't get booked in the first half is beyond me. And Lamela should've been booked for the second challenge on Baines at the midline, as it was basically the same tackle that earned him the first card.

Definite penalty on Fazio. Hand is raised ("unnatural position"), so it doesn't matter that it's a close contact. I recall  us being penalized for attempting a sliding block when the ball hit a raised arm from a similar distance. No real difference here except it's a leap rather than a slide.

The game went chaotic in the final 5-10, and given a few more minutes of that I think we score. But that urgency was missing from minutes 46-85. Tactics were off, as I don't think a Barkley-Eto'o-Lukaku combination has the right movement to work together. Lessons learned, hopefully.

Well they covered us in our plan A and we don't have a plan B. Seriously the gap between the striker and the player behind him was huge every fucking time. No point having two attacking full backs to reach to the corner of the opposition half and pass it back. It's annoying.

Crap.

Another dire post Europa performance. You can say it shouldn't make a difference but looking at our results it's hard to shake the feeling that it does.

Missed Naismith today. The Lukaku/Eto'o/Barkley trio doesn't function well for me. Not enough in the box.

Agreed. I think Naismith is probably our most important player at the moment. We all love Barkley but he is in terrible form at the moment.

Don't know how many times Bobby needs to play Lukaku, Etoo and Barkley together to see it isn't even close to working either

Really missed Naismith and McCarthy today.

At one point Lukaku got a cross in and there was no one in the box, guarantee that Naismith wouldn't have been far off getting on the end of it.

Certainly not a good performance, Spurs were the better team but Everton definitely should have had a penalty there. Poor decision by the ref, clearly hand ball, he should read the rules again.

(Their "When the spurs go marching in..." song makes my skin crawl, they should have points deducted for that)

They smothered us incredibly well. Didn't allow us to send in many crosses. Overall, as many said we looked very confused in the final third and no one made any noteworthy runs in the final third. Just an overall poor performance.
Are we there yet?
