It is a bit of a concern that our pattern of play isn't really evolving at the moment at all.

Someone said Spurs were shite, they wern't they were quite good and well deserved to win. Everton were shite for most of the game. No pace, no bite, very happy to get the ball  in their half and then work it backwards again and again. sometime back to Howard. Martinez will not change tactics. He will continue to expect pedestrian players to pass it around mostly sideways and backwards until someone loses it which happens very often. Most teams have wised up to us. Play high up and we are goosed. Hull will try to do the same on Wednesday and they are shite. Mid table suits us, not very good and not very bad.

No need to overreact.

We are better than mid-table but we are in the area from between 4th and 7th. 5 points back of United who have had an easier schedule to date than us.

We need to start taking points from those around us though. All we have so far is a draw against Arsenal and another against the Shite.

Hopefully we can take something from Spurs, United and Liverpool when they visit us at Goodison.

Lots to work on, hopefully we can get some players back from injury and fully fit as well.

"The performance was good enough for the 3 points"

I think Bobby needs to start sitting up in the directors box to watch the game.  We were shocking after we took the lead - end of

That's going to happen though.

Last year we evolved a great deal throughout the year likely because we had a new manager.

We are more settled this year so the changes we make will likely be incremental and it will take more time to see them.

Today was disappointing and frustrating but we are well within striking distance of our goals still going in to a busy period of the season.

Also, can someone please punch Harry Kane in the face and bitch-slap Lamela?

Hate them both.

My feeling is that Martinez is looking to focus on the Europa League this season and the performances in europe are totally different to the ones from the league. I can see us finishing between 8th and 10th this season, thankfully we won't be in Europa league next season. A club of our size (financially) can't compete in more than one competition. Even though we have are larger squad, some are not of quality and are there just to make up numbers.

Ross has done little or nothing to justify being in the team at all. Continues to disappoint. He is all potential and nothing more. One day maybe he might be this and one day he might become that ..after all he is very young, etc not really fit,etc etc. He is plainly not good enough to be our playmaker, as some try to claim he is.He might one day become a reasonably good player, who knows? Who else is there if he is dropped? Well no-one really. So do we let him jerk along doing very little except fall over at every tackle, or if someone shoves £30-40m in our direction, do we snatch it and get someone who is good enough for this league?

So he's not good enough to to be in the side and one day he might become a reasonable player, yet you're quoting £30-40m? What you are describing is a £6m player, would you take 6 for him?

We get offered anything like that for him, he'll be gone before you can utter the words "Nice one Bill"

The league is deffo a secondary competition to us now. The Europa is what were aiming for which we have been consistently brilliant in

Wouldn't say brilliant, we've done well.
