It was disappointing to lose but a good work out for the young lads. Garbutt did well but maybe copying Baines a bit?? McAleny had good touches but final pass wanting.. good prospect though. Thought Dowell did ok when he got the ball.
Thought Kone was great with good hold up play and he actually wanted to score... nice for him to be back.

As for Robles.....mmmmmm, really.

You saying this is a negative?!!!
I have to return some videotapes.

Kone shown some decent touches and looked quite sharp
Garbutt is the best left back to ever play the game
Atsu wasnt feeling the rain so pulled his hammy
Joel did the best "honest lads im shit..... look" impersonation

In general the kids did ok

Neat, Tidy, decent touch, Lightweight. I wasnt overly fussed but the majority would say he done ok. Plenty to work with thats for sure
