Mahrez deal off. I wonder how forgiving the Leicester fans will be after two transfer requests? Apparently a few players aren't happy with him either.

Feel a tiny bit bad for Mahrez, I mean he came in for 400k, has stuck with them this far and they've got a great return. He's unlikely to get a better move than this in his career. Barring him saying he'll never play for them again it doesn't seem to be happening.

Giroud is a good signing for Chelsea, but £18m for 18 months seems quite a lot.

weren't we debating 40m being sensible for Mahrez over the summer?  Christ on a bike.

Having seen Kante and Drinkwater get their dream moves to deny him the chance to play under Pep at City, after they're bid £60m, is a bit shitty by the owners of Leicester.

Let’s be fair the shite have just payed £75m for a centreback and City themselves have just payed almost £60m for another, neither of whom were as vital to their selling clubs as Mahrez has proven to be to Leicester. They’re well within their rights to hold out for more especially with it being so late in window and with them having plenty still to play for this season.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

£25m for Lucas Moura must be a fairly decent piece of business for Spurs especially given some of the fees knocking around.

Good old Sky, desperate to drag out the Mahrez deal saying he's not in the squad for tonight even though they're hardly going to suddenly drag him back in an hour after a move has collapsed and his head's all over the place. Jim White shouting his nuts off that Jonny Evans isn't in the WBA squad for tonight only to go live to Pardew for him to say he's got a hamstring strain, there's nothing to see here and you won't see him turning up somewhere else tonight at 10.30pm.
