Hope Aurier gets up to his usual antics and ruins Spurs' season.

Swansea signed a couple of standouts but I'll be surprised if they produce the goals that Sigurdsson and Llorente did.

Spurs have come out of this window stronger than they went in. I know Aurier is a risk off the pitch, but on it I think he's better than Walker. Llorente is a great addition too.

I agree but I can't see where Llorente will get the game time, Harry Kane will be first choice every day wheather he scores or not

I agree he's a fantastic buy for Spurs as he would have been for us, the difference is he'd start 90% of games for us and about 10% for Spurs so he's the the caliber of player we could have tempted here with more game time and probably more wages. No brainer really unless we were relaying on the Barkley or Niassie money which didn't materialise

They're planning on playing a hell of a lot of football this season. Llorente will get plenty of game time, and he's a great option to have.

Spurs can offer CL. We can't. Spurs can offer a title challenge. We can't. Spurs can offer London living. We can't.

Even with Kane as first choice, Spurs is a better option than us.

Premier League to amend summer transfer window, starting 2018/19. Window to now close 1700 on Thursday before start of season.

So if Barcelona fancy Pickford after our first game next season and his head is turned we are unable to replace him until January?

Sounds that way but the fee we could ask, knowing that we can't replace until at least January would probably be enough to buy Barcelona outright anyway.

Yes, I'm sure Pickford would understand.
