This is likely to be the shortest Deadline Day thread of NSNO's history, but you never know!

Maybe I can help...

Surely that ban would be wiped after such a long time?

Unlikely. When Joe Kinnear became Newcastle manager several years ago, he was still made to serve a 2 game touchline ban which he had been charged with when he was Nottingham Forest boss 4 years before.

According to some reports, Cahill is more likely to be moving to China to play for Shanghai Shenhua.

Nothing happening here then. More than likely if Distin goes we'll get the line of "Antolin is really close to being fully fit so we don't need to replace him" then we'll be down 2 this window.

Or Martinez will big up Tyias Browning or Brendan Galloway in the next few days.

@westhamtransfer: West Ham have pulled out to sign Everton defender Distin.

Probably not offering him enough bottles of milk

Did Niall Quinn just shout 'PENALTY TO LIVERPOOL' during that studio segue on him?

No it's the referee and Stevie G rehearsing for Saturday.

We've ridiculed Kenwright in the past for his "watch this space statement"

But for David Gold to quote "don't go to bed yet" and then another reliable West Ham ITK to tweet 10 minutes later that all the deals have collapsed - what a twat!

Honestly pleased with the day. Lost no one and I was expecting us to sign no one so surprised personally

Heck even the other day Martinez the optimist was doubtful that we would sign anyone.

While it would have been nice to have brought in a defender we have enough cover there while we've looked more toothless in attack recently, a winger was perhaps more of a priority and because we don't have 23m to spend on the likes of Cuadrado, Lennon was probably one of the best options available to us.
