We have actually done well against these of late and the game early in the season could have gone either way till we committed footballing suicide . Even then it looked like being 5-5 at one point . Mirallas will not doubt bust a gut in this one and that 'something to prove' may just get Lukaku out of neutral . Defensively we have been better in recent games and they have been quite poor . This would not be a major upset if we got a result .

I had to change the channel several times during the first fixture, it made me so mad.  Certainly seemed like they could have scored 10 or 11 had they needed to.

We need to get something from this game if we're going to get into the top half I think.

I'd start Lennon in this one. Having him and Mirallas either flank will give us a lot more of a threat going forward.

As much as I love Gareth Barry and have stood by him all season, I'd drop him for this one and give Barkley a chance again. I thought he looked pointless in the derby. Just don't need that many holding players in the team and I'm afraid Besic and McCarthy look streets ahead of him.

If we can weather the storm for the first 20, I really feel like we could win this one. If we score first I will be extremely confident.

From BBC....whats wrong with McCarthy??

"Tim Howard will return in goal for Everton after recovering from a calf problem but Leighton Baines and James McCarthy are both doubts."
I have to return some videotapes.

Lukaku made Mangala look like shite. I'm hoping he can do the same against Zouma.

Gonna be tough. That Matic is the real deal.

This may not be 100% right, though they were near enough spot on with the RS team last night, but according to the Live Score app we will be making just the two changes tonight, Bainesy for Oviedo and Lennon for McCarthy

So I presume Oviedo will go back to being Formerly Super Kev's sub again.

I remember the days we would beat Chelsea all the time. They're the PSG of England.

Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka Oviedo
Besic Barry Barkley
Lennon Naismith Lukaku

Wouldn't be particularly pleased if that's the team.
