Disagree MC. You can change it halfway through and it work perfectly. Look at westbrom for instance.

West Brom were in a far simpler situation, they didn't have any kind of style. Pulis toughened them up at the back, gave them a simple game plan and that works. It wouldn't work for us, only maybe if we changed our manager.
I didn't even remember I had a signature.

We were unlucky today and did not deserve to lose 2-0. We nullified most of their game but could not find the net. One brilliant save from their keeper from Lukaku, otherwise 1-1. Garbutt was excellent. Yes this season's league is a write off and probably so is Martinez although I expect him to be given until October or November to produce a team challenging for the top 6. I said previously we need 3 wins plus a few draws from somewhere but again I cannot see many wins at all, so we may have to rely on maybe 1 win somewhere and 6 draws, and hope others do worse. If we lose at Stoke then start praying with 10 games left. If we go even close to going down then sack Martinez in May. 6 wins in 28 games is a disgrace.

I'll go with you on that... if we are just above the drop zone (or worse) by mid-April, then get him out.

Why?  Because it's ludicrous that we are even thinking about relegation with the quality of players in our side! I can't believe the mess we're in.

Dave I broke my leg Whelan did say Roberto would take us places we wouldn't believe. Let's hope he didn't mean the Championship. We need some points in the bank pronto.

It is sad how much we resemble Wigan this year. We make a lot of inexcusable individual errors and look increasingly confused in the final third.
Are we there yet?

Yes that's not what I meant - apologies if unclear. I'm not blaming Barkley directly. That would be insane. It's our reliance on him or someone else to be a creative threat in that part of the pitch. But there are honourable mentions too for individual errors, confidence and poor fitness.

Although the possession game is frustrating, I still marginally prefer it over the panic button defending and clearing the lines crap we used to see from Moyes. I really hated that.

Thats a Myth. We were brilliant defensively under moyes, even if abit no nonsense at times

Indeed. If we were to get relegated under Roberto's watch then I doubt many top flight teams would even touch him with a barge pole afterwards.

Doesn't help when Everton don't win many games.

Only saw the first half and didn't think we deserved to be 1-0 down. Lukaku needed to bury that chance just before the Arsenal goal. It's going to be a fight now.

Then he'd be manager of two teams that got relegated within three years. Even Neil Warnock never pulled that off. That's Paul Le Guen-level failure.

If he got us relegated, Martinez might have trouble getting a sniff from a League 1 club.
Everton forever.

The performance was not that bad.  I would say it was slightly better than our average this year in the league.

Question is this: how confident are you in this team defeating Stoke on Weds? It's still not getting any better.

anyone who cannot understand why fans are unhappy with RM and our league form are blind, we may have been worse under moyes when we finished 17th, but we had a much worse squad. this squad is under achieving on a monumental scale.
and fuck the EL, yes, its good that we are doing well, but if we don't turn our league form round soon, we could be in real trouble, and don't fucking say we are to good to go down, how many teams have thought that then gone?

RM needs a fucking wake up call, and it better be soon. this is RMs first real season, playing HIS way, HIS style.

he can't blame anyone but himself, this squad is the best we have had since the 80s title winning side, but lacks fight, guile, spirit and leadership. the buck stops with RM.
I'm the "trophy husband" from the game my wife regrets playing.
