Pre match Press Conference with RM and Naisy if anyone's interested...when they put it on like...
I used to stick the ball in the net and bow three times to the Kop. They never liked me doing that. - Dixie Dean

No McGeady, Pienaar, Baines, Oviedo, or Hibbo.

Team pretty much picks itself doesn't it?

Garbutt needs to have a blinder again, maybe more so defensively this time, not sure he will get enough cover when he goes forward.

Not at all convinced about this game, we need to press early and get the first goal, as I think if we drop back too much they have the ability to open us up.

Jesus we aren't fucking dropping.

Can you safely say that though? After that Stoke game anything is possible. Wouldn't be surprised if Newcastle beat us and then we collapse completely against QPR. If that happens we're right in it and they're showing no signs of any fight.

What is up with our team? Guys just dropping like flies here... Maybe it's just me tuning out Martinez, but we don't even really hear anything about it either. Where is Pienaar? I know he's playing U21 games.....

He was, well once I think.

He didn't play in either of the last 2 so I can only presume he's had a(nother) set back.

Re McGeady I seem to recall that RM said he'd taken a knock to his knee.

Overall though it's just more of the same misinformation. Baines was having a late test for the last game, yet he's not made this. Oviedo wasn't too bad, again not made this.

Players being out for 2-3 weeks isn't the end of the world - I don't know why we're not clearer on injuries.

Maybe that's just something else that's being analysed as there's not much else going right this season but I find it annoying :)

You're right, it's not a huge deal, just annoying. I would just like a timeline on a player that is actually close. I just don't see how hard that is...

The Prem is a marriage that has gone stale and turgid. We've said everything we've got to say and the sex is the same, once a week, same positions, same routine.

The Europa League is our filthy little bit on the side. Breathless, unpredictable and exciting.

This week it's Dynamo Kiev's turn to get fucked all over the place.

Cooled & Liked. Lets hope it doesn't end in a knee-trembler behind the alehouse with a lawyer specialising in jurisprudence.

Eh?

''Refusing'' to go to Prem games cause its not going very well.

As @Bob Sacamano has pointed out a few times, some people don't have the bottle to follow Everton.

I'm really excited about this game, and not just the obvious distraction from our shocking league form.

For those of us old enough to remember the Iron Curtain and Communist Eastern Europe, this game holds a certain romance. Dynamo are absolute legends of European football and it will be pleasure to entertain them at Goodison.
