Lukaku and Barkley did quite well tonight but I also think Osman had put a good performance.

One man to blame and that's Alcaraz, do you honestly think Martinez told him to go out and duck every ball over the top. Jags was doing the job of two men out there

So you're laying the blame of that performance solely on one player?

Who picked that player?

Who deemed him good enough to play for Everton?

Who failed to get a centre half in thinking having Distin and Alcaraz as 2 of our 4 centre halves was good enough?
Hey there mister can you tell me what happened to the seeds I've sown
Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown

Didn't go our way, but we've played worse. Their first and last goals were crackers, but we allowed them so much time and space up front that they could and did shoot from everywhere. The 3 goals in between were shambolic, as were the other 30 odd chances we gave them.

It's been the same problem for pretty much the whole season, our defending has been so poor we didn't have much of a chance. Martinez needs to be more pragmatic, I've no idea how Distin hasn't been able to get back into this team.

No, but do you think Alcaraz picked himself?

He played to the best of his ability, which is limited - to be kind.

He had a stinker against Kiev at Goodison and yet was still picked ahead of Stones.

Don't think that's true, he's had plenty of better games than that, the weekend for example when he was brilliant.

If stones isn't fit to start then he can't start him.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

He might have kept him in because of his performance against Newcastle, but Newcastle are shite, this is another reason why I don't like Roberto, gets far too many things wrong.

Now all our chances of doing anything this season have gone and we're out of Europe, the issue of whether we are fatigued due to Uefa cup after effects should be clear to see, one way or the other. I just hope it holds some truth and our league form improves for the run in. Despite a couple of good saves this evening my confidence in Howard is zero. His positioning is all wrong, I've watched Football for a along time and Tim Howard has deteriorated as a keeper significantly

he picked alcaraz and im sorry before the game started we all said that was a bad move. look at the posts after the team was named and see how many were not happy with alcaraz, sooner have stones on 1 leg than that clown

We can all do this. Stuck with Smith too long too.

None of the examples matter. I'll stick with him if hes looking for another keeper, looking to only play 1 of Naismith or Barkley, looking to add some tempo even if it costs us a little of our meaningless possession. The problem is what are we giving him time to do?? He doesnt appear to learn or want to change what most of us see as massive problems

Pre-season was  aproblem, Keeper and midfield is a problem as well as an attacking midfielder.

Give him the Summer and 10 games and see where we at.

If he hasn't changed and we still awful, sack him

Signed him and picked him. The other 4 in our defence have hit an all time low this season too, our wingers cant counter attack anyone because we pride aimless possession over tempo, despite having 2 defensive midfielders teams just walk through us. The problem isnt tonights shambolic mess. The problems are season long and show little sign of any real change

He can have time assuming hes looking to make real changes to personel and tactics. I doubt very much he is. He thinks Howard has been great and weve only been shit vs Hull. He doesnt even think theres a problem

Hes telling us Howards been brilliant. He has to demonstate to someone he knows the issues. Hes certainly not demonstrating that to us
