Gutted for the Atletico fans. Can only imagine how that would feel if we were watching the RS sneak another massive final against us, having gone so close. Must be sickening.

I think that'd actually send me over the edge.

I thought Gabi was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch. Monumental individual performance.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

It was a good game with a very high standard of football on display from both sides. Lots of very good individual performances.

I thought that was wank

Pepe is an absolute cunt. No wonder people dislike football watching him

Thought at Madrid deserved to win

Ronaldo did the total sum of fuck all.

Simply simply lovely

So you think Real Madrid and Spain have won Champions league, La Ligas, Copa Del Reys, European Championships and World Cups carrying a passenger?!

Total twat

Total winner

I would probably warm to him if he signed for Everton, but I'd happily punch him in the face right now.  Pepe though...

Nah, I'm with hill. Aside from the annoying play-acting, thought it was a very high quality game.

It's like a Michelin-star turd sandwich. You can admire the craftsmanship, the amazing crispiness of the bread, the presentation and the impeccable garnishing, but when all's said and done, there's still a massive turd inside.

It wasn't great. The second half onwards got better. I agree there were very good individual performances but these are all very good players so that is normal. The game just didn't have that pulsing excellence that you perhaps expect but both teams were so well organised that the game overall was quite stifled.
