I think as RM says we need to be confident but not overly so.

For last season's home game they were on a decent run having beaten Spurs and Liverpool; it looked like they underestimated us a bit. We obviously played well too, but that made it into an easy game.

With them having been stuffed at Arsenal they'll naturally, whoever they were playing, be that bit more focussed this time round.

We should still be looking to get after their defence of course but it won't be as comfortable the other way for us as it was last year.

I'd still be disappointed if we didn't at least look like we should win the game though given we're at home.

And thanks to the NBC deal, 10 mins setting up Kodi is all anyone needs to watch any game in top quality these days.

True last season, but NBC got their plug in blocked on Kodi this season and I haven't figured out a decent alternative. Phoenix streams all seem a bit low grade or wonky to me.

If you have any suggestions im all ears.

We need to fly out the traps like Arsenal did. These aren't great but given time on the ball they still have quality players who will hurt you. None of this letting them have it and try and hit them on the counter, let's take the game to them. Man for man there's not much in it and we have home advantage if Goodison is rocking.

The first 35 minutes will be key. If we can get at them and grab a goal, we could go on to beat them. The longer it goes on without our goal they have the 'class' to hit us and win 1:0

Have to say I'm a bit nervous about the last 55 mins of this game.

I really like our chances today, but being so confident worries the fuck out of me. Extremely confused at the moment.
