James McLean doesn't even have one dimension to his game. Whatmore's already better than McLean at his very best is. Looks talented, and their fans properly rate him.

Their faves absolutely raved about McLean. I think he has more ability than McLean. But when judging people like whatmore, as was the case with McLean, when they are new in they have no negativity or lack of confidence he has come from non league so he is in the zone of chasing down everything, giving everything a go with full belief. So the fans react well to that, it gives them confidence and they try things they might not. As soon as they've been around a while fans expect more, teams look at you more closely and it becomes much harder. The confidence drops and all of a sudden the things you did do well become much harder and your weaknesses exposed. Seamus to an extent will have found that, thankfully he had the ability, strength and hunger to come back and be even better in his proper position.

He was good yesterday, he was good in the under 21 game last season and I'm not saying he won't have a chance people should always be cautious about people like him until they've had a good run of starts as playing 10 mins as sub where you can throw everything into it always clouds people's especially sunderlands fans views.

A lot to talk about by the sounds of it after today's game, unfortunately my mrs had a car crash on her way home from shopping and I had to take my three year old son to the out of hours clinic at the hospital, couldn't believe the scoreline

Hope all is ok mate.

GLewis or Rhys would have got that but they're both busy meditating. Clanger knew it but the question was so beneath him he couldn't be arsed.

Only time I saw Dindane was when Portsmouth played Carlisle in the League Cup a few years back, he scored their first goal.

Classy. Hardly warranted that venomous reply. Sigh.
