Everton have taken a lot of our hope over the years haven't they. A while ago I'd be so excited about such a story. Now though it pretty much goes with a shrug and the assumption it won't happen.

How dare you! Its cheesy as fuck, has great one liners and some boxing, whats not to love about it

i feel sick with excitement.

Don't do it to yourself Lizz, we have been there before so many times. Seems a bit more plausible the Times, though nothing on SSN yet.
Think i'll wait till we find out a bit more about these potential new owners, before I start cheering.

For a minute, I thought Everton were going to take over the US for $200 million.

Still couldn't sell an RV.

Interesting if it happens considering it was around this time 16 years ago that Kenwright and co ended the reign of Peter Johnson, would be a nice book end to that chapter

Just turned on talksport as I was reading this thread and they said something about them just coming in to get the money for the TV deal. Didn't sound like an overly positive outlook on the prospective buyers.

May have just been a flippant comment. I've not looked into them at all.

Talking of Talksport, it would be horrible to owe Alan Brazil an apology. :)

Maybe we should be taking this a bit more seriously because it's not The Sun but let's be real, for half of that money you couldn't even get 3 of Evertons' best players.
