Nice to get a win under our belt, notwithstanding playing  lower league opposition. Makes Sunday feel nice for a change. :)

Theres a pic of Barkley giving his shirt to the Carlisle staff, assuming so they can auction it off. Lovely from Ross.

Oveido hasn't put a foot wrong and got a very nice assist.

Oviedo's a better player than some fans give him credit for. Psychologically, his recovery from that terrible injury is to be applauded. He just needs to get up to pace now and he'll leave you with a smile on your face.  ;D

Robles on crosses is still a worry

I am actually beginning to wonder how the goalkeeping coach Inaki Bergara works with Robles and Howard during training.

That was a fun day out if nothing else. Never heard the racist chants but they did put out a public address warning against it. They've also just said on the local news they are looking into it and going to take action.

The Carlisle fans in general were spot on though, very complimentary of us, must be the first time I've seen the opposition applaud a goal after Barkley's and also gave him a great reception when he came off. Gave a great applause to Ossie when he warmed up and when he came on as well.

Not sure how the away section was called sold out, there was obvious sections left empty due to restricted views but there was also a lot of empty seats in amongst the fans as well. Also, the pitch was a disgrace, the ball was bobbling all over the place, I can't help think they're on it a bit too quick.

It was great to see Roberto's youth policy today, would be interesting to know the average age of our "new" and "young" team. Routine win.

Lennon covers an outrageous amount of ground.

I, like most others on here, don't understand why Kone is ahead of him on the winger depth chart.

I don't think Martinez wants to play him on the left.

Professional performance. Nice to see after the disappointment of midweek.

We'll win this cup.

It was nice to have a relaxed Sunday thread where we were all pleasant to one another.  Huzzah!
