No surprise to see James McCarthy straight back in the team.

That's because he's boss.

Out of form like, but he's a good player.

Glad that Lennon is starting, he was given a chance in the cup and grabbed it.

The baines decision is a strange one.

Seriously though....why is there no centre back on the bench even?

Stones must be injured.

The baines decision is a strange one.

They said he had a knock on Sunday which was why he wasn't involved but he wouldn't have played then anyway. Unless it's just that since he has come back he has played a lot of games and now has a rest. Bit like Jags did when he missed Swansea game

Yeah, I don't really get the Baines decision at all. He has not been playing poorly, and Oveido is certainly not the better defender.

Baines probably just had a knock, Oviedo wouldn't have played 90 minutes on Sunday otherwise.

Maybe he thought Baines couldn't play today and Saturday for fitness/injury reasons and so decided that Saturday was the harder game to save him for.

I don't give a shit, its win or bust tonight. Lose tonight and l want him gone end of the season  regardless of any signings he's made.

Stones needs a breather his confidence has probably taken a knock in recent weeks.
