Saw on xscore yesterday that they got a red card yesterday..... Imagined Payet was the man and he got a 5 days supension .... wasn-t to be... Not sure a  Payetless West Ham would beat Manchetser in the replay though...

Anyone bought a club Wembley ticket? Mine has come as an e-ticket (got it off a mates boss). Does anyone know if I just go up to the gate with that or do I have to go to the ticket office to get a proper one? Bit worried incase they start asking me stupid questions about where I bought it from.

Given we've looked completely clueless in 2 games against Man United this season, I'm going with better playing West Ham.

We'd beat West Ham. We'd freeze against Man U.

Think West Ham would make it a more open game.

As we have seen Van Gaal is aware of how to make us look toothless.

any news on when tickets to non season ticket holders might go on sale? (providing there are any left)

Had we walloped United yesterday I doubt very much that there would have been too many left to go on sale but given that result I think it may well dampen the enthusiasm somewhat, let's face it, Roberto has proven he is incapable of out whiting either West Ham or Utd.

People have every right to be pessimistic,  but that won't stop many from going if there's a ticket on offer imo.

I'm as miserable as anyone about how we're doing but even if we'd lost 7-0 yesterday I'd still think we had a chance in the semi.

As you say, can't think that there'd be many people who wouldn't go based on who we were playing.

"We're all going to Wemberly", sort of applies to me and a load of mates, as only two of the ten of us have tickets for sure.  the lucky two have season tickets even though they live 300 miles away from Goodison. We arrange an Everton meeting pub and if we don't get a ticket, we watch it there with hundreds, or even thousands at that venue. It's a day out and we've all seen our cup displays are miles apart from our league form.

There's so much distraction with sack Martinez that a cup semi seems secondary this season. It's a big thing to me and the group of lads who travel to these games. The league is a joke. Were OK in cup competitions, we should be happy with that situation as it stands. Martinez would be gone now IMO without the two cup runs, but at least our season isn't finished with 8 league games to go. Win two games and we have grabbed the second most important trophy in the domestic game.

OK, let's get a new manager, but we have unfinished business this season just yet. :)

Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

Biggest game of MArtinez's career this. If he loses, he probably will not get a top tier club for 5-10 seasons

if Everton sack him, the only way he will get a "top tier" club will be by taking a "bottom tier" club and turning them into a "top tier" club
