Barkley, Baines, Lukaku all injury doubts, in addition to Jags, Cleverley and McCarthy who are all out.

Could get a bit messy this one.

Robles
Coleman  Stones  Mori  Oviedo
Besic  Barry
Lennon  Deulofeu  Mirallas
Kone

That's far from a horrendous side.
Cordiali saluti, motherfuckers.

Forgot to mention Lennon's an injury doubt as well.

Sorry I'm on a bit of a downer at the minute. I can only see this week being unbelievably bleak, so I've already sort of accepted it in my head as a coping mechanism.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

I'm taking what solace I can in that previously when we've been down to the bare bones we seem to come out fighting so to speak, and given recent displays from Barkley and Lukaku it might not be the end of the world for others to be given a go especially if they think there's a possible semi-final place to win?
Cordiali saluti, motherfuckers.

If Niasse can't get on for more than 5 minutes tomorrow then it's looking pretty fucking bleak for him already.

Assuming Rom is out like.

Gonna be the worst atmosphere of the season there tomorrow I reckon.  Flat from the start and toxic beyond belief if we concede.

Without the cup game next week this would have been grim. As it is, it's as bleak as fuck. Let's hope, as others have mentioned the injured players may be getting rested for next week. I have no idea whatsoever as to what would be a reasonable shout in the prediction league. Roberto's drained my brain ???

Southampton's playing style is made for us. Even with our horrific form and all the rest, I'd be genuinely surprised if we don't take 3 points tomorrow.

They left the midfield open in the first half of the away game. Doubt they'll make that mistake again.

Although the noises from them seem to be come after us early on and induce a mass meltdown so there might be spaces to exploit.

I actually think we might win, purely because I cant actually contemplate losing a 9th home game out of 17!

Southampton are built to beat us!  Then again most teams are.

We don't win at home, if they go 1 up the atmosphere will turn really hostile towards Martinez, a tiny bit of me is hoping this happens

Bad bloo me

What a terrible press conference this morning. They might as well as not turned up. They really let Martinez have an easy time almost every time.

As much as I want a win, I really can't be assed with who plays and how they play. Their is nothing left for the league this season. Play some kids and try something different. Can't be any worse.
Kind of feels like when I used to play Sunday league as a kid. We smashed it and loved it for 8 years, then the manager decided he was getting too old for it so gave it up. Following season we just could not be bothered. Won 2 games all season and it felt like a chore to train on a tuesday and friday and then show up on a sunday. Just feels like that allover again.
