believe it or not blargs…..it's not so bad a theory that...

about 10 years ago Carlos Quiroz did a coaching session at an FA inset day......The topic was pass and move....he reckoned the best way to get kids to get used to pass and move was to basically "play football" as basketball....ie use their hands instead of their feet.....he said they'd been doing it in Portugal and brazil for a few years and it worked a treat...it's a five a side game but using their hands...

the theory being kids when the throw/pass the ball to their mates are more likely to move into space for a return than when they pass it with their feet.....

And it actually worked.....
