It's amazing how all the other Europa League finals have gone off without a hint of trouble or violence, some of them in smallish grounds, but this is defo Uefa's fault.

Are they really saying this?

The media are terrified of saying anything critical of their fans, no matter how justified it is, because of the Hillsborough fallout.

Was just about to say the same

everywhere they fucking go, they cause trouble, fighting, robbing etc but no one dares say anything incase they bring up Hillsborough.

Thats my opinion anyway.

Athens is very good example of this, they were robbing off each other and actually boasting about it, but again that wasn't their fault, it was UEFA'S

Anyone catch Carragher's hilariously bitter tweet about us after the United/Palace game?

Yep, was something like, 2 cup wins in 4 days for Evertonians

Klopp getting a contract extension after only 6 months in charge.

The cynic in me wonders whether they're feeling inferior what with the media focussing on Utd, City and Chelsea's new managers.

They deffo are, they don't like it when the media switch their attention elsewhere, they will be creaming themselves again soon enough though, especially when they play Barca at Wembley in a few weeks.

One of the lads in work is buzzing because they're unbeaten in pre-season so far, actually said and I shit you not, that "this will be our year"

Him "See the mighty redmen won again last, 5-0"

Me "You were playing Fleetwood mate"

Him "Not the point, tough opponents and we brushed them aside with ease, two games unbeaten, Klopps redmen on the march"

Me "Tranmere & Fleetwood"

Him "Its ours this year, all you bluenoses will be crying soon"

Me "Sound mate"

Oh and their new player who scored last night (he didn't know his name!) is well better than Barkley.

Just heard that horrible fat bastard Mick Quinn on Talksport with Brazil and it got me wondering if he's going to follow Colin Murrays lead by leaving the station due to it's future links to The Sun now that they have been taken over.

Surely such a massive diehard, local red would surely take the same stance as Murray... Wouldn't he? Especially seeing as he makes a more than comfortable living off his horses... :titanic:

He wont leave, he loves the limelight and the sound of his own voice
