Holy shit, horrible crash in the women's cycling. Showed the leader crash and it looked awful, the next motorbike past filmed her a good ten seconds later and she still hadn't moved and was lying at a horrible angle at the side of the road.

Sickening wasnt it

Boardman went quiet for a bit, must be horrific for him considering

Aye, his mum was killed recently in a cycling accident wasn't she?

Genuinely fear the worst for her after seeing her when the second motorbike filmed her.

Conscious and taken to hospital according to the BBC.

Boardman rightly being very critical of that part of the course after the men's and women's races.

Did a bit of fencing years ago but I'm fucked if I can remember the rules. I know one thing though, Kruse needs to get his finger out here.

Only just noticed that Del Potro knocked Djokovic out in the first round 7-6, 7-6. Djokovic sobbing leaving the court, because the chance of an elusive Olympic gold meant so much to him.

All those golfers who suddenly found zeka excuses and other commitments might want to take note that a man who has won everything he could dream of as a pro was still devastated at losing in the Olympics.

Murray brothers knock out of the doubles as well.

Contrasting emotions from the Chinese gymnasts compared to their divers, they've got bronze and look like they were told anything less than gold will result in 20 years hard labour in Outer Mongolia.

4th for GB, Lewis Smith dropped a bollock on the pommel horse and fell off.

Another 4th place for GB. Women's sevens beaten 33-10 in the bronze medal match, some turnaround by Canada considering GB pumped them 22-0 in the group stages yesterday. Decent standard of rugby to be fair.

Women's gymnasts struggling a bit, the Chinese team look like they must average about 12 years old.

I don't think I could walk along that beam, never mind run along it jumping and spinning like a loon.

Not the Olympics but a good laugh anyway. When you see their faces mid dive they look like they're already braced for impact.
