With our current squad 10th to 14th.

i.e not good enough...

If we sign a goalkeeper (Hart), decent back up striker (Haller), a quality number 10 (Mata), another midefileder (Wistel) and another defender (Koubailly) then 5th-8th.

You would think if we spend around 140m on all them players we would be aiming for higher than 5th.

I would like to think that, but I think that's the reality of it unfortunately. The money has gone insane. Even with those signings would we be better than Arsenal, Tottenham, Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City? I don't think we would. So we would be competing with Liverpool, West Ham and Leicester in the top 8-9.

It's will be another underwhelming season.

The defence will improve, but that will be countered with a decrease in goals as the front four all flatter to deceive again and we rely heavily on Lukaku.

Lennon and McCarthy will be the victims of the Koeman era and will find game time difficult.

Holgate and Davies will breakthrough, with dowell struggling and getting sent on loan.

Seamus Coleman will reclaim his place as the best right back in the league.

Baines will continue to underperform as age and injuries catch up with him.

And we'll crash out both trophies early doors.

That's bloody brilliant mate.

7th.

Shit in both cups.

Mirallas to be player of the season.

Fallen at the final hurdle.

12th to 14th.

After the initial optimism of Koeman coming in and us having a large transfer kitty, blatently obvious that it's still sell to buy.

Mourinho wanted 4 players going into Utd, and has strengthened the whole spine of the side, centre half, centre midfielder, centre forward and one of the best wingers in Europe.

We've known exactly what has been needed and all we've managed is a midfielder from a relegated side (the worst side in Premier League history no less)

lolol

Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.
