So Joe confirms that the designs are basically done and fans won't be consulted on them

That's sound so long as they're proper boss

If fans had any sort of an input we'd have the equivalent of this

It did seem to suggest that didn't it?

From the club I got:
"There are a few designs from Meis that we asked for so we could get a range of budgets. We'll consult the fans on what the best parts of these plans are to take forward"

From the hilariously loose lipped Anderson I got:
"Some paper pusher underneath me is holding the deal up but I'm gonna force it through cause I've seen the final plans and they're ace".

For the people flapping
..................nobody's flapping but I'd take anything Joe says with a large pinch of salt.
This is his comment from 17th May 2016.......
A new stadium in three years?
Mayor Joe Anderson said he expects the club to have a new stadium within three years .
He said: Im confident the new stadium will be up and running in three years time.
I think there is a real acceptance by them and Im pretty confident that within three years there will be a new stadium for Everton football club in Liverpool.

...........so now it's going to be 2022 . He must have meant 6 years.
We are special ,we are Everton.

Why do years make basic math skills evaporate for people?

How on earth is 2022 6 years away?
Even if we were on day 1 of 2017 it'd only be 5 years.

I've been given loads of stick about this but as I've maintained from the start, as the council are fronting the cash they could stick a running track on it for all we know.

Now also the price sky rockets. add that to moving into a desolate area with no infrastructure.....

Like I said, the whole thing is best avoided.

Massively disagree pal. It's in the city's best interests to regenerate that area. It will benefit us massively
I know you love goodison, as I do too but it's all for the best

So to summarise

A bunch of cunts are miserable about it costing more money (of which exactly zero is theirs) and the doom mongers say it'll never happen

Fuck off back with mystic meg and your crystal ball, if you could predict anything in the future you'd all be millionaires  :wanker:

Guessing 3 years was predicated on the Commonwealth games pushing things along.
