Can we not just replicate that and save some fees on the design?  Id be well happy with that

Maybe it's my age but why do I think the roof reminds me of Windy Miller opening the watch with mother box? Not that keen really either. I think it doesn't show who we are or our history, but that's only opinion and I'm sure it won't make any difference. I think we could do better.

Keep seeing this thread bumped. Keep checking it for updates. Keep being disappointed that there aren't any.

Hmm.. next Barkley twist, due to not receiving 35m from Chelsea, we are unable to meet the finance targets for the new stadium.  :snigger:

All gone very quiet this hasn't it?
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Reckon the next stage will depend on the commonwealth games.

Final bidding/decisions are made soon. Then everything goes off to central government to give one city the nod.

I genuinely think there are 2 concepts floating about the place and we'll push on with one depending on what is needed games wise

We'll all be really happy for you when it does.
You'll love it, the planning, the virtual reality tours, the building rising up and the first trip there when it's  completed.
You'll  be the happiest little bunny in the world.
The Himalayas has the Yeti, Norway has Trolls, America has Hillbillies. You, good people, are blessed with Shropshire.

Plenty on YouTube showing the demolition of West Hams and Spurs grounds - all a bit sobering.
