There's a huge difference being connected with the Liverpool Waters scheme. Corporate types will much rather come to a match at the docks than in Walton.

Honestly donít think this stadium is going to happen you know.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Years of disappointment

In typical Everton fashion we will get it but it will be the biggest pile of shite you will have ever seen.

Is that to get likes or is that really your opinion?

It would just be typical Everton to finally land a dream stadium only for it to look awful.

Why would that be typical ? What have the club done previously that causes you to say this ?

This is why the fanbase opinion should be ignored at every opportunity.

Our fans have short memories. They want too much too quick on the stadium front so badly they are prepared to have selective blindness towards redevelopment claiming its not possible (Old Trafford, Anfield) and allow us to morph into 'Brand Everton' and shaped in Moshiri's image. A club without a soul. They trust Moshiri more than they seem to trust their own instincts as Evertonians.

The idea you cant redevelop an aging ground is an absolute nonsense. Look at Man Utd in the 90s. Remember the state of Old Trafford in 1990, 1992 when they won the league and again in 1996 when they done the double? In 95/96 their capacity was 45,000. Less than St James Park if I'm not mistaken.

Man Utd showed patience with their redevelopment and some desire (as Liverpool have) to remain where they belonged and where best known for. See the pictures below

If we are going to move out of where we belong in Walton and become essentially a brand without a soul, in a stadium where tickets cost us all 25-50% more.......I'd rather watch non league football.  :hmph:
