There was an interview with Anderson on the All Together Now podcast where he let slip that he's seen the draft plans, so they do exist. He also stated that the plans are very sympathetic to the area, given the UNESCO WHS listing. He mentions the use of bricks in the design, so we should maybe expect something a bit more along the lines of the Lucas Oil stadium in Indianapolis, rather than that picture posted on the previous page.

Dan Meis said there was going to be a lot of brick, concrete and Steel used he also said that he would use material sypmpathtic to the surrounding area, Big Gob Joe has said nothing new.

I'm not arsed either way. He's the architect that is working with the club. Will admit that when he first started speaking to everyone who tweeted him that he seemed a bit too friendly, almost paid for friendly, but seems he just likes twitter.

I'm just not seeing why anyone is getting excited over it. As you say, there's roadworks, and we know there will be more building work there in the future. It's just a pleasant tweet, keeping in touch as you say.
There are fucking shit loads of roadworks there, it's directly behind were I currently work

I suspect the capacity is finalised, they are putting about 52k atm knowing that people will push for 60k+ in the consultation. So they will land on 55/56k  so everyone thinks " yeah that's not bad”. Any increase will come from turning seated areas into safe standing. I can't see a huge increase in that though as it will still be "seats” of sorts just a little more compacted.
Standing areas will only be 1-1 anyway

If you look at the outline drawings it shows a very small footprint compared to the other grounds referenced .That is why it appears that they have been limited by the size of the available space .
The footprint is far from small

Sunderland and Rangers have plenty of Leitch iron work. Rangers remains in situ and Sunderland have dotted theirs around the city

Villa Park still has plenty around and his work at Highbury was preserved once Arsenal moved out.

It feels very special to us, because its ours, but the Leitch work is well preserved elsewhere so outside of Everton I doubt many others will care. Obviously it'll be preserved, because it should be, but I think we will have some freedom over how it is done.
I don't want any of the leitch work at the new ground, I want a nod to it somewhere and that's it. I want shiny and new
