The view has sat uncomfortably with the cost of construction. It seems a long time ago that £400m was the ballpark figure. Then, it became £750m and £850m, and now, nobody would be surprised if it reached a billion.

You will also get touts/sporting event companies signing up to this season ticket waiting list, just so that they can then get tickets for when we move into our new stadium and charge a premium for the first game played there etc.

......................yeh I was thinking in a more general way. I think its the first time we've seen Megafon mentioned so that has to be a good thing for the Usmanov connection.

I doubt any of the food served in the stands are as that will be provided by sodexo

.......................when we get a date for the first game in 2023/24 ( or 2024 as Sky are saying ) I'm going to try and book a hotel for the weekend too. Prices are going to be astronomical but its a one off ,to hell with the cost. 

Same for the final game at Goodison too especially if you can take some souvenirs away with you
