If there's one thing we don't need in this country it's coffee shops ran by wetherspoons.

Tell me about it

They’d make Starbucks seem like artisan roasters 🤦‍♂️

Slightly off topic but Wetherspoons are in the process of rebranding their business and plan on opening more coffee shops than pubs over the next few years
More hotels too.
Simply simply lovely

Is it standard practise for stadium designs to take an eternity to arrive? Or is it just another 'Everton' thing?

Yes, standard practice.
The Himalayas has the Yeti, Norway has Trolls, America has Hillbillies. You, good people, are blessed with Shropshire.

For the fans to see the design, yes.

For Moshiri and Co. to see the designs, no. They've probably seen at least 4 or 5 so far.

..............yes ,and I think the final designs will have been informally discussed with  LCC ,Peel and other interested parties. . We are not going to go to all the trouble of submitting a planning application for it to be rejected out of hand.
We are special ,we are Everton.
