There's more to this than us.  Major concerts, other sporting events etc.  The city needs this as much as we do.
That's true. To be honest I wasn't really thinking about the city's needs but would anyone here want to be sitting in a stadium with thousands of empty seats because it was good for the city 12 or so times a year? Now I don't get the opportunity to go to games anymore but I remember when we were winning the league and making trips to Wembley an anual pilgrimage, our capacity then was 55000. Other than the Bayern Munich game, the title winning game against QPR and derby matches I don't recall attracting that many fans to the ground. Are we now going to fill our ground with people who only want to come because the stadium is fabulous? Personally I hope not. It is very likely I have lost touch with our support in the UK in the modern age. There might very well be more real fans out there than we have traditionally attracted, that would be great if we could fill a 60000 plus stadium with so many blues... I doubt it though. It would be nice to be proved wrong.

Which corner does St Luke''s Church fit in?
The Himalayas has the Yeti, Norway has Trolls, America has Hillbillies. You, good people, are blessed with Shropshire.

I thought i was the only one that was sort of weirded out by his likes.

Seems like either a creep following these types of girls or he's a playboy.

Thanks for the pictures Audrey. I would agree with Dan Meis on scarcity and the importance of selling out a venue completely.

The 1878 concept is a nice idea - a section directly behind one goal made up of 1,878 original seats from Goodison.

(may suggest Dan has only sat on some nice new seats, not the wooden ones in the Bullens or similar...)

Why do you agree with scarcity?
