When is this?

Not sure if others agree, but as a general rule would be good if the OP could always put some basic details about the game.

Getting my arse to the Old Lady for this one ;D

Got to get a match in when visiting and the way Joe Anderson keeps banging on I might not get a chance to visit Goodison again ;)

I'd play the same team as Saturday except maybe start Kone in place of Lukaku and only bring on Lukaku if we are desperate for a goal.

I wouldn't rest too many to be honest, if at all. We've been flying so far so let's keep the pedal to the floor and try and keep this run going. An embarrassing defeat in the cup might derail things so just go again. Barry will get his rests in international breaks and as we only play once a week most weeks Koeman said he's got a special training plan for him to keep him fresh anyway. Another comprehensive win breeds confidence and it's not as if we can't afford to upset the guys on the bench, they're not good enough for our first team anyway and they'll get their chance when the inevitable injuries come.

I think we have a pretty decent bench.

I think it is a fine balance.

If you want the subs to be more likely to perform well when needed then ensuring that they've had some competitive football is beneficial to that.

With the game only being a couple of days after the last there's probably a couple of knocks that can be rested to ease those decisions.

Barry was saying how he couldn't do three games in a week so I'm guessing he's out

Time to wheel out the squad list fillers like Kone, Gibson and Cleverley.

Lukaku has a knock so we should see if Ernie Valencia is any better than Kone.
We are special ,we are Everton.

And I'm of the opinion that Tom Davies is good enough to play for our first team (not every game, but some games). I'd like to see him develop this season, rather than getting the odd 10 minutes a handful of times and then loaned out somewhere.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

I wouldn't make more than 4 changes, keep a winning team together. Keep the form going!

Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.
