Surely we'll play Kone upfront if lukaku isn't fit. I can only assume the deulofeu and Barkley suggestions are a joke

Anyway, hopefully Big Rom's fine.

Be nice to beat these after last season, eh?

Another game where if we win, it'll be 'you haven't played anyone yet'. I wonder how many points we can accrue while not playing anyone. Hopefully loads.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Only a fortnight to go until we play someone. It's come around quick.

And then we go straight back to playing no-one immediately after that (Burnley and West Ham, after City).

Someone should really let our players know you don't get points for beating those teams, you only get points for beating Arsenal or Chelsea away apparently.

Does highlight how poor the window was if we're sweating on Lukaku's fitness facing Bournmeouth away.

Anyway the only real alternative is Kone obviously none of this hipster 'false 9' FIFA fanboy shit.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

It almost feels like there will be a big sigh of relief after every game if we get through it without any injuries from now until January, such is our lack of quality depth in the squad. Just have to hope we keep fluking wins against these nothing teams until we can get some more quality in.

We played Deulofeu there throughout pre-season and against Spurs, but ok.

Are any of our U23's forwards worth having a punt on if lukaku is out?

Please. A real "hipster" would be playing Football Manager.

Shit, have i been out of the game so long that Football Manager isn't mainstream anymore?
