Just as long as he's done with the Valencia experiment.

Anyway, hopefully Big Rom's fine.

Be nice to beat these after last season, eh?

Another game where if we win, it'll be 'you haven't played anyone yet'. I wonder how many points we can accrue while not playing anyone. Hopefully loads.

Only a fortnight to go until we play someone. It's come around quick.

It almost feels like there will be a big sigh of relief after every game if we get through it without any injuries from now until January, such is our lack of quality depth in the squad. Just have to hope we keep fluking wins against these nothing teams until we can get some more quality in.

Which game did we flukily win?

Tongue in cheek Jimmy.

Can't see Wilshere getting a kick if Gana plays.

The Cherries will have to wait a little longer for their little loan revolution to commence.

Would love Gana to go right through him in the first minute and watch the little tattooed wide boy disappear.

Can't say this performance hasn't been coming.

The real issue is we have no strength in depth so we have to play players who aren't fit or stinking the place out.
We're another half a dozen players away from being where we should be.

Koeman knew he needed another 2-3 and smiled through gritted teeth when we only got Valencia.
We have no choice whatsoever but to keep playing the same players week in week out until January.
No option of freshening it up, nothing of any quality coming in if we pick up some injuries, nothing really on the bench to change a game....
We can kid ourselves and say it's a one off but we've not consistently played well all season and our front five have only turned it on in fits and starts.

We seriously need to work on this prematch routine/team talk/whatever as we always start games half asleep.
I don't know what it is but it needs addressing as apart from the Spurs game this season we haven't got going until we either concede or after a half time bollocking.
