With Rom out, our back up options are.

Arouna Kone
Enner Valencia
Oumar Niasse

Has there ever been a more grim sorry bunch of back up strikers ever?

We just need to get Anichebe back and we are sorted.

I'm thinking of the times when straq was our main forward and the depressing time when dunc got sent off at Wigan in 2006 which left us with rotating osman and McFadden as the lone forward!

Away win, they can have all the possession they want, but we will be victorious.

Play Deulofeu upfront and pack the middle of the park . He has the pace to harry Stones and Bravo and the rest of their defence is a bit suspect .

I'd play Deulofeu up top if Rom is out.  At least to start.

I currently feel that we'll probably play very well but still get hammered.
Too many Man City players able to smash us with individual brilliance

Very interesting game this, it's our first real test this season.

I really haven't got a clue how he will set up, but a wild stab in the dark would be....

                           Stek
Coleman     Williams    Jags     Baines

              Barry            Gueye
                 McCarthy/Barkley
Bolasie                                    Mirallas
                      Deulofeu

Not sure whether he will sacrifice Barkleys creativity for a the more defensive McCarthy. if he does that you could swap McCarthy and Gueye around.

Nah, I want to see him dawdle on the edge of their box late in the game, only to be mugged by Valencia, who proceeds to hit a child sat in row Z in the face with his shot on goal score us a winner.

Anyway, head says 1-1 here, heart says 1-0.
