Big emphasis on gueye and Mccarthy to really get about and amongst them as well as supporting the forwards

Watford line-up: Gomes; Zuniga, Prödl, Britos, Holebas; Guedioura, Behrami, Capoue; Amrabat, Okaka, Deeney.

What a list of names eh ?

Finally.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

I see no reason why James McCarthy, a man who has asked to leave and had his commitment questioned by the manager, should get in the team ahead of Tom Davies.

it's not three defensive midfielders.

It's one defensive midfielder and two box-to-box midfielders. Gueye I reckon can do this cos he's quite tidy and mobile. McCarthy has done it before but not for a long while. Would prefer to see someone else ahead of him but he doesn't do the business he'll be hooked off. Nothing to worry about.

Two wannabe box-to-box midfielders.

McCarthy box to box? No chance. Barkley would be fine playing in the middle alongside gueye and Barry. In fact he'd probably thrive on it as he'd have the chance to run with it

You reckon? Bet it doesn't play out that way (even if you are right)!

We've been poor and lacking energy generally.

We'll be solid with those 3 and then hopefully they'll get the ball to front 3 often enough for one of them to do something.

We should at least have plenty of possession and shouldn't be walked through at least.
