according to an italian website we are in for him, as genoa and lazio.
here is the link : http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/lazio/?action=read&idnet=bGFsYXppb3NpYW1vbm9pLml0LTEzMzI2

Around 8.5 milion euros, that is the price rumored there.
Would it be a good signing ? Aren't we without money ? I don't remember if he is a good player to be honest.

Barely good enough and too much money even if we had it. I'd guess that is just the Italian media throwing in an English clubs name to make their rumours seem more genuine.

I wasn't impressed by what I'd seen of him previously, but I changed my mind after watching him for Ghana because he clearly does have the talent.

If Moyes wanted him and felt he could get the best from him then I think he'd be an excellent signing, but £8m odd is money we don't have at the moment.

I'd take him as someone who could play in a few different positions, potentially as a Cahill replacement eventually in fact.

Right now I would not have him over Victor on the right hand side.

well in the article is said that genoa and lazio offered 7,5 million euros for him, and we offered 8,5 million euros at the last minute.
From your comments seems a good player, let's see what happens...it's just a rumor now :D

Would love him here but he's not what we need right now.

Alrite he's a good player but why buy him when we could just buy an actual right mid presuming we have the money?

Would rather have Adyew or Gyan from Ghana. Boateng had an awesome World Cup though and has sublime skills and good pace.

Worth it for 4 maybe 5.  8.5 is way too pricey.

I'm not sure on him to be honest.

I think the fact that he looks like he's legging it around at 100mph covers the fact that he's not actually doing that much to influence the game.

I can see how there could be a good player in there but I wouldn't want to spend £8.5m on him. Not that we have that kind of money. Yet.
